Make it easy to track and reconcile your credit card payments:
You can ask your credit card processors to charge you once a month instead of discounting every payment. That way, the deposit they make to your account should match the amount you expect to receive.

Do all your reconciliations at one time:
You can check with your bank and credit card companies to see if they can set you up for month-end statements. That way you can do you reconciliations quickly after the end of the month and get a good look at the month that just you just finished.

QB Hint - Keep Track of your regular payments:
If you make arrangements for automatic debits (payments), look into using QuickBooks’ memorized transaction feature. You can use this to record them automatically. Whenever one is coming due, QuickBooks will remind you about it when you re-open the QuickBooks application at the start of the day.
